I am heading down to Cali tomorrow I will be staying in Robert's condo for the first three days of my trip with a good friend of mine here in Atlanta. Even though we have the condo he also says he wants to get one of the best rooms in Cali (evidently money is not a problem for him) I know about Inter. and Royal Pacifico in the south can anyone else give me a suggestion as to where I can find a super nice suite with at least two bedrooms?

Cool

Kenboone, I haven't stayed at the Don Jaime on Ave. Sexta, But it has large rooms and it looks very upscale from the outside. It's located in the north in Barrio Granada. It's less than a $2 cab ride from the LWC condo and the hotel is right where a lot of discoteques and restaurants are. I lived/stayed at Suites Los Cerros (on Ave.9A Norte at Calle 15N) because I'm cheap and because a 2 bedroom place was reasonable if you stay there for a week or more. 40% off daily rates for 1 week+, 50% off for 1 month or more. 4 months ago, I paid $360 US per month. You have to pay per local phone call. Once in a great while, I saw a roach, but I used boric acid in my kitchen/living room area to control them. Hey, they weren't too big -- no problem. It can be a bit noisy there, but it's in a safe barrio near the action and the Don Jaime Hotel. Kev

Ken

If you want the ultimate suite then go to the recently bombed but renovated Cali Del Torri. It's the tallest building in Cali. At the very top just under the restaurant is their suite. Next down I would say the Inter's suites then the Pacifico Royal. I've stayed in all three hotels.

For those of you who don't know the investors and shareholders are selling the Intercontinental hotel to the Estalion Corporation. Word is all the 20, 30 and 40 year employess at the Inter will get the ax.
