Default Bogotá Lodging options

For those of you who are interested I know two places for accommodations if you’re looking for a place to stay. A 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment near the US embassy for $38 a night, and a hotel in the North for $60 a night called Casablanca93, with breakfast

Great links El Exigente, I have looked at the casablanca, but it is usuaoly over $100 online! Both of there hotels are in great areas! Is the cost the same for both!!! How do you get them for $60 pr night?

THIS NEED TO BE IN HOTEL AND APARTMENT SECTION FOR EASY VIEWING WHEN NEEDED

Hi, new to gringos. I've always been a fan of staying in apartments versus hotels. One place I've checked is vrbo and rentalo. Since I'm new, I can't post sites and links. Anyway, I will once I can. I've rented a 3-bedroom place in Cartagena, right on the sand in El Lagito for $60/night (no minimum). Right now, I'm staying in Bogota at a place in Barrio Santa Barbara, across the street from Bogota Brewing Co. for $350/week. Looking for recommendations on a good place in Barranquilla for about the same rate. Any suggestions?
