Sailover,

We stayed at the America Hotel. It’s $21 a night and has a large swimming pool. It’s also walking distance to Fields Avenue. It has parking and I park and walk. Even if I were sober enough to drive, there’s no parking so this works out well.

Looking at over 100 Filipina women at one time, I was able to reflect on how many truly beautiful women there are in this country.

Benjio,

You are correct. I’m lucky and I realize it. I am even tell her in Tagalog “Pinakamaganda si Mitch sa mga babae sa Pilipinas” Mitch is the most beautiful woman in the Philippines. Nothing in those bars, including a hundred beautiful women, make me wish I were single again. If I tell her that several times and also point out that we can go back to the room and watch cable TV, she calms down. It is her idea to bar hop after all.

I can’t imagine being on a beach in Baraquilla and not getting in trouble for noticing the eye candy. Just tell her that you’re looking at the girl because she is LESS pretty than your GF.

That sort of irrational jealousy is part of the culture because when a woman sees her Colombian man eyeing the candy, it most often means he is already gone. And for some reason I cannot fathom, that little girl whining they do so often seems to work quite a bit of the time. It cuts through me like a machete in my brain. I am a fair man, but this ****ing heat is driving me crazy.

I don't know if it is irrational jealousy. I mean hasn't every husband that has cheated at one time told his wife she was the only woman for him and the most beautiful woman in the world.

I am sure even Mitch has been told by some guy she is the only one and it was a lie.

I know it is irrational because each one of you are the only honest guys around.

I knew a girl that had an irrational fear of sharks. I told her that was rational, sharks are scary. She said she was afraid of them in the swimming pool in her back yard in Dallas. Now that is an irrational fear.

Ciza,

One of the biggest advantages of Mitch being so young is she doesn't have this kind of baggage. The father of Jessamae was her only BF before she met me. She broke up with him because he preferred to buy beer than to buy milk and diapers.

In February when we went to Butuan, he told Mitch's mom that he was going to stop me and Mitch from taking Jessamae to Luzon. So he mom called the barangay (neighborhood) policy. I gave a party for Mitch's relatives and a van full of about ten barangay policemen [a motley crew that wouldn't have struck fear in the heart of a stray cat] attended. I kept buying bottles of local brandy for $3.30 each and there were no problems.

Mitch's fear is not totally irrational. Like in Colombia there are tons of women who would like to steal another woman's man. The truth is that as long as Mitch stays like she is, I have no interest in anyone else. I try and make her feel secure. I remind her before we go in that she is the one with the BF, not the other girls and they are jealous of her. She doesn't need to be jealous of them.

It's irrational to respond with that whiny, eyebrow furrowed jealousy because women all know that men love to look. In fact it is very possible SHE used her goodies to attract him initially, so now he is supposed to go all Dr. Phil? (instead of Dr. House). But even as I write it, I realize that of course women will react this way because they ARE irrational. And isn't that why we love them? (gee, no).
One reason relationships in the US seem so difficult is that women are encouraged by the culture to be impossible and they thrive on it.
It has been said many times right on these pages, if you want to maintain the sort of relationship you hoped to find down here, you have to be the man which is what is expected south of the border. As Micky says, don't be a dick. But don't be a wimp either. Once they realize that little girl act doesn't do anything, maybe it will cease. But I doubt it because her mother STILL does it. (hmmm, I wonder where her father goes every afternoon?)

Last night was Wolf Pack which is like a bachelor's party for hashers. It happens about every two months. No women are allowed to attend besides Mitch and two other women (and of course the girls who work in the bar) because they are part of the entertainment.

In the dance contest, Mitch doesn't take off as much as the other dancers (she leaves her bra and panties on) but she's a very sexy dancer, climbing the pole and shaking her ass. Everybody just loves her because she really knows how to have fun. And they all know I am lucky.

And last night, she didn't mind me looking at the other (naked) girls because I was mostly looking at her an so was everyone else, The truth is that she has absolutely no reason to be jealous of anyone. Sometimes she actually realizes this.

I've actually developed a pretty good sense of timing for when I need to look away. I use to look directly at her after seeing a hot girl, but then she always knew something was up and got upset anyway.

The beaches are hopeless though...I don't even try to hide it anymore at the beach.
jajajajajajajaja that reminds me some souvenirs . Now I call myself a lynx because I can see these beauties way before she notice them and the sunglasses what a beautifull invention
I developped a technic to look on the sides without moving my head and my eyes and if she feels I am looking I can still deny and latinas don't let go that easily so I enjoy the little argument because as you mentionned the ''make up sex'' but also it gives you the oportunity to let her know again that she is yours, I mean your girl. It just depends how your rhetoric is

The moment you have to develop procedures so your woman won't 'catch' you looking at some other attractive woman, is the time you might as well hand over your balls because it is just a matter of time. When a woman is able to take ****rol over you early in the relationship, it doesn't get any better. That's what women do. They spend much of their energy trying to take control because you obviously can't be trusted with it. While I am not sure I would be happy with my woman dancing on a pole in her bra and panties for all of the other droolers to gawk at, at least it sets a precident for what is allowed. Oh wait, wasn't that same girl up on the pole pissed at our Jim because he looked at another woman? Hmmm, maybe they ARE irrational?
