I am very interested in L.A. but I think a Section on the PI is a good move.

The main focus of this site is not only L.A. but Gringos finding foreign women and the PI has connection with Latin history and culture, as it was a Spanish colony for several centuries

I am retired Air Force, 51 y/o, I was in the PI 20 years ago when it was to dangerous to travel to the south, Davao City, my Commander would not let me go there. I understand things are better for Americans now most places in the PI.

In 1986 my Air Force unit landed at Clark Air Base (Now Closed) and my buddy and I had dinner dates 2 hours after landing. I never experienced anything like that anywhere in the world. I was enchanted by the PI and it is one of the places I am looking at to retire after I cash out of California in the future. If I find a nice Philipina then that much better.

So in my case I am in favor of the PI forum. It may fizzle out,…or it my grow to warrant more attention. Why not let the market decide.

I’m also am in favor of sections on Mexico and Brazil.

Filipinas are also of strong Latin heritage, due to the colonization of the country by the Spainards. Surnames such as Gonzales, Cruz, Perez, etc. abound.

So with a Filipina you are getting the best of both worlds, a bad ass Latin/Asian mix that is can very exotic. Filipinas are also extremely friendly and approachable.

I've been to Colombia three times and I would say that I think I now prefer the Philippines after being there. Plus they speak English, which allows you to express yourself with all the nuance a subtlety you possess, which can be very difficult for all but the most advanced Spanish speaking gringos.

Of course I still adore Latin women and the experiences in Colombia I will never forget. But after being in the PI its hard to go back. There is actaully TONS more available women than in the places I know in Colombia, mainly Cali and CTG.

Hello, did you read the Gringos Slogan or what???

It say the Ultimate bulleting board for meeting women from and travelling to Central & South America!

JAJAJAJA, Just kidding, I could care less if there was a PI section, maybe someday you all could grow up and get your own board, someday as a result!

FUTURE GRINGO BOARD:
GRINGOTALK/P.I. The Ultimate board for meeting filipinas and travelling to the Phillipines!

Falcon, just like to rock the boat, old man!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to grow up, all the old guys like philipinas!!!!!!

And us young guys know why!

Latinas are my style!

Actually they should put the philipines under a new section. It is NOT Latin American!!! Even though the spanish infiltrated it.

It language is not of the romance languages, whic clearly defines LAM!

Doesn't matter the culture. There are good women and bad women. (and more bad women) (and their mothers).
It is a game of chance, with YOU the likely loser.
But hey, pack your bags party down, dude!

Lastlion

You don’t have to grow up that’s the beauty of it all !!!

But why are you still on the PI forum??????????

Your English is comical at best!!!!

“It say the Ultimate bulleting board for meeting women from and travelling to Central & South America!”

That is suppose to be (It says) not it say!!!!!

And Travelling is (traveling.) !!!!!!!!!!

And it is Bulletin not ( bulleting ) !!!!!!!

Just giving you a hard time about your extremely poor English and Spelling.

Ha! Ha!...... Sorry Just Kidding.

Cuba is not in Central & South America! Or did that slip by you. Do you protest the Cuba board too???????????

Cuba is a Caribbean Island according to Geographical references, according to the United States and according to the Russian Federation.

I welcome a (Board on Cuba) a Spanish speaking Latin American country, unlike you Lastlion

Don’t worry Lastlion you will be an ”Old Man” one day if you don’t die to soon from chasseing Latinas, who are among my favorite women in the world. I was engaged to a beautiful Mexican American, 2nd generation, US Citizen, who spoke fluent Spanish. She was killed by a drunk driver.

As for being an “Old Man”, (implied insult) as you can’t spar with intellectual content, I understand. Your as young as you feel. I can still bench press 325 pounds, run a hundred yards in 10.5 sec. I ran 9.8 sec. in high school with a league champion 440 relay team, and I recently got carded in Strings restaurant after ordering a glass of wine. All that after surviving Prostate Cancer and a Herniated Disk in my lower back.

Oh Ya, not to mention I tredd water (that means stay on top of the water) for 3 ½ hours with the US Navy Seals during training in the Philippines during my Military days.

“It language is not of the romance languages, whic clearly defines LAM!”

Sorry man your English is terrible!!!! I don’t even understand this!!!! Although I think I know what you probably thought you were saying!

Just kidding! I like to point out extreme Hypocrites and Boneheads when ever possible although I am not referring to you of course.

Lastlion please take some English and Spelling lessons.

Why are you still on the PI forum????

It wasn’t to long ago this Board was “ ONLY ” about Colombia!

There were no sections about other countries in Latin America!

The Gringos web site has grown, changed, evolved, into something bigger and better, with more members. It is only natural that there be a breakout section like the Philippines Board. Change comes slowly and with some discourse.

Take CIVIL RIGHTS for instance.

I agree that this board is more about men meeting foreign women because US women do not offer us as much.

When I speak English to Divina, many subtleties ARE lost because she doesn't speak perfect idiomatic English. When I spoke very little French, I prefered to talk French than English to someone because as least I understood why I did and din't understand.

Filipina women are an option which are worthy of your consideration. It took me one day to become converted. It's one of many subjects which there are mnay points of view about on this board.
