Question Italy anyone?

Hi,

Anyone here been to Italy before?

I just had an offer to go to Italy with a few old mates of mine. They are planning to go Milan and Rome.

I thought it might be a good idea to at visit this place at least once, since all things "LATIN" came from Italy including the Catholic culture, language etc. Hopefully the trip to Italy will be as good as the one to Spain.

Anyone been out there before? I have no idea what to expect.

It's a shame I am a taken man, other wise I would have loved to scope out a few italian women.

They have that Med look that I like.

I promise to keep you all posted if I go.

I've been to Rome and Florence and will go to Venice this summer. If you like history and architecture and art, you will have a good time. I always hear folks rave about the food, but I wasn't overly impressed, to tell you the truth. I'm sure it's there, but most of what I had was good, not great, and small portions. Gelato is great, however. Be careful of the pick-pockets, they are everywhere in Rome...as are the gypsy women and children looking to jack you up if you get distracted. I did not go there for women. There are some pretty Italian women, but the trendy women (who most associate with Italy) would cost you. I thought the average woman I saw was just that, quite average.

So, if you stick to enjoying the culture, enjoying the sites, and having some good wine, you'll have fun. After visiting several places in Europe, I'll stick with Latin America for ladies.

It has been my impression that European woman share the same attitudes in general as American women. Accustomed to having whatever they want, and expecting someone else to pay for it. Or is that too cynical?

Unfortunately Sailover is correct. Italian women, like most all European women carry the same qualities as US ladies. I have Italian buddies in Brazil that left Italy and have no plans of returning. However, for the culture, history and architecture--go for it. I have no experience in Italy but my Italian friends all say that Italy along with Madrid, Portugal and Paris are places to see when in Europe.

Kalel, enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the info...

Although I wouldn't be so quick to compare the European Women to American women.

Spanish women in general are not all that different from their LAm sisters. In fact, in some ways they are more "Latin" then Latinas themselves. It just take longer to crack them.

Anyone else been to Italy?

Well K, you have the 'crack' part right. European women can be worse. But delightfully, they can be better too. It is just up to the guy to figure out which before he spends all his Euros. (or pesos)
For what it is worth, the women I have met from Spain were tough to tell from their sisters on South Beach. Maybe their tats were a bit more tasteful. (and they seemed to quite like their sisters.) (but that could have just been me and my own fantasies)

Hello,
everyone,
well for myself I went to ITALY in the north part in a city called FANO where I have an uncle married to an italian woman.
All in all I agree with what CIZA said if you're an history fan as myself you will enjoy ITALY and ROME has a charm but too much christian for me ..I didn't stay a long time in rome sO CAN'T REally talk about it ....Anyhow have a goodtrip and enjoy the country...European style with a slight touch of america latina, it's interesting...
Now saying the italians women are no different than AW or LAM women well I would say you will find a lot of materialistic women there but hey, I guess it's the same everywhere....

I have family in Assisi, and have spent some time visiting. There is some great food, and some great people, but it is way way more expensive than Colombia. They even have separate more expensive menus for the tourists in the restaurantes.
