Austin,

You listed about ten things that you don’t like about my approach but unless you choose one item, it isn’t relevant. If you disagree with any particular idea, you might offer a counterpoint.

There are seven members of this board who have contacted me via PM and I assure you that many members are interested in the Philippines. I personally hardly ever read the posts about agencies in the various Colombian cities because they are of no interest to me. I don’t believe that they should be eliminated or that the people who use agencies are degenerates. If you don’t care about the Phils, don’t read this part of the forum. Lots of people are interested in it.

I personally welcome your participation and hope you continue to favor us with your opinions.

Gobjabber,

My major hobby for over thirty years had been sports officiating (HS Football, Basketball, and Baseball). People yell at me all the time and it’s really easy to let things roll off me since I am almost always right and they are wrong. Besides having studied the rules of the sport[which y detractors haven’t done] , I AM TRYING TO BE RIGHT and they are yelling because a call went against their team.

Real life isn’t quite that simple. I’m not always right but I do have a thick skin and don’t much worry what other people think.

Lastlion,

Don’t read the forums which don’t interest you. I bet most of our 490 members have taken that approach. Please don’t leave the site.

In the Arizona Republic today there was an article about the UN and how Hugo Chavez was cheered wildly for his anti US diatribe. One view said we should quit the UN and the other said, we should stay and make sure Hugo Chavez never speaks there again.

Nobody stood up and said that different people have different views and it’s better to talk to people (even yell at them) than it is to bomb them. Everyone’s opinion counts and is valuable. No one has to read anything here but the diversity is a key strength of dos gringos.

Jim, you have a really great way of being! I don't always approve of some of your posted behavior, but I have never knocked you or flamed you! I barely touched the philipines section!

I thought I made some good points, about starting up another website!

RAY, At least do all us all favor and get it the hell out of LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES section

I don't care where you put it but it aint LATIN AMERICAN and it is like saying Great Britain is in ASIA

If you renamed the section "other countries" then it would fit sematically but whether this section is called other countries or other latin american countries is probably not an important decision.

OK, OK, so bite my head off, but didn't Jim originally get his start in Latin countries? And isn't he a "Hall of Famer" on this board? Does he not deserve some respect even if you disagree with his tactics and "escapades"? YES, to ALL questions, so that being the case, it seems only fitting this section continues.

In a way it is still a part of the Latin search, he tried Latinas' twice and now he has "graduated" to the Phils which seems to be working for him. Some of you may not think it is working for him, but I DO.

So I would want to know what he found, because in his posts from time to time a discussion of what he found with his Latinas' and what he has now will surely keep coming up, and that is all useful information, AND this board is about useful information, it's not just a forum to whip other people, like Jim seems to get from time to time.

Where the section is posted is not the issue, and unlike other countries that people may want started, Jim regularly posts in this section, which is all that the moderators ask if you're going to start a new section.

SO I don't see what all the problem is with it or where it is placed, if you dont like it, dont read it, turn the channel.

Thanks GA,

I'm back and I'll post a complete trip report on Sunday when I have some time.

We're all searching for the same thing.
