Hey Fellas,

I'm making my first trip to Bogota next weekend. I was in Cali in 99, then took numerous trips to Lima in the interim. Had a long time girlfriend there, but it didnt work out. Im looking forward to knowing Bogota and the lovely ladies there. Anyone going to be in town around the 7th and staying for awhile? It would be nice to hook up for a drink and conversation. You can post here, or send me a message. I admit to a bit of nervousness, dont know all that much about Bogota, but have read alot and will continue to do so and try to learn as much as possible before I go. I'm hoping to have a nice trip and would like to return early next year if I like it there. I hear its raining alot right now. I check out the weather every day and it says rain every time I look. I'm wondering if this is very typical, or if this is the rainy season for them.

Will post a trip report upon my arrival back to the states.

Take care

Mike

Mid September - Mid December: Rain every afternoon
Mid December - Mid March: Sunny almost every day
Mid March - Mid June : Rain
Mid May - Mid September : Sunny

Mike, I'd really like going more than anything but right know I'm hand paddling a palm tree log out in the gulfstream somewhere near Bermuda.
Can you guys shoot off some flares so I know which way to paddle?

Clay,

I might shoot something off, but I doubt it will go that high. jijiji

Have fun in Bermuda. I have there myself on a cruise ship and loved it. The only problem with cruise ships, or the "love boats" is there arent enough hotties to make it worth your while if your single. On my last cruise, the selection was quite menial. Not that I am such a prize, but it was quite an eye closing experience when the American chicks walked out to the pool with their bikinis. Can you say Cellulite? High mainetenace cellulite as well. Its funny to watch so many fat chicks eat until they are so stuffed their bellies stick out even more, and they pretend they are hot and want to be wined and dined. Yuck!! I used to think cruise ships were a great place to go and get laid, have a good time, etc....but then I went to Cali in 99 and my life changed for the better.

I would never try to pass myself off as Mr. Stud, but my God, at least I know my limitations. Those broads acted as if they were runway models with their arrogant, stuffy, and overrated version of themselves. I had to lower myself to mercy ****s just to clean out the pipes. I'll never do that type of vacation again unless I'm married.

I remember when my girlfriend from Lima was here in my city. We would go out and the American women would look at her with what appeared to be hatred. She would wear a cut off shirt and the tightest pants known to man. I saw one woman almost choke on her food when we walked into a restaurant and saw the sight of my girl strolling in. I never laughed so hard. What a beauty she was. One of my great **** ups in life was losing her. She was as sweet as she was beautiful. Every night was a fantasy porno for me with her. I'm getting stiff just thinking about her.

Sorry for the diatribe....Im a bit too excited for this trip, I need to calm down a bit.

Later boys,
Mikey

I`ll be around for the next 3 weeks here. I am normally living permanently in Cali, but now I have some business up here.
If you like to contact me, please write to my email.
It has been raining a lot, but really it is not normal, although this time a year it is a rainy season.

Here's another one of my biases concerning Colombia coming out:

Skip Bogota. Skip Cali. The pollution and noise levels completely suck. Go directly to Pereira, Armenia and Manizales. Fresh air with San Diego-like weather all year-round. I could care less whether you meet the woman of your dreams or not. The point is that you will fall in love with this area and want to semi-retire there one day. It is pure heaven on earth.

Mike,
I will be in Bogota from 11/22 through 11/27, a mixture of business and pleasure. We will be staying at the Royal Hacienda and will be traveling with (2) Bogotanos so e-mail me back with your contact info and maybe we can all hook up. It is my first time in Bogota, too.
