Bogota like most Colombian cities has hotels in nearly every price range. Prices have risen when compared to the dollar lately, but you can still get a deluxe room here for what you pay for a Motel 6 back home. And they almost always include a great breakfast. The Sofitel is a favorite. (not of mine of course, I go for the places that would frighten you but only cost $15.) (no breakfast but all of the bed bugs you can scratch).
