Barranquilla for carnaval!!!

Well I rarely talk about my trips on the board in advance these days.

But I will be in bogota for a few days for business than off to barranquilla for a week during carnaval. I have always wanted to go to carnaval in RIO, someday I hope, but I guess I will go for second biggest, barranquilla, plus as usual I made some great friends on my last trip down there. And am all set up thanks to them..

DAMN, Colombianos really are great hosts!

I have to cross this one off the bucket list now!!!!

Anyone going and wants to hook up, let me know!

Carnaval has already started here in Barranquilla. I am flying back to San Francisco this Saturday, so I will miss most of it, but here is a picture outside of the stadium where they have their dance competitions.

LL ... have a great time ... wish I could join you. I won't be able to make it down to Barranquilla until probably April. The novia isn't a big fan of carnaval, but I really want to experience it for at least a couple days sometime.

I was wondering the same thing Brent? LOL!!

It would be great to see one of you guys there maybe next year. Although my friend in Baq usually leave town fo the event also. I really wanted to experience carnaval too. Just once, I am not a big partier so it will be cool, plus I am penthouse sitting for a friend, while they are out of the country, free rent cant pass that up, 2 blocks from the windsor. with incredible vistas del baq.
