Cheap Hotel in Centro

I stayed at "Hotel San Francisco" On Calle 43 Kra 43 for 6 nights during an economy trip on the advice of a taxi driver. I stayed at Costa Linda the first night, but $75k is a lot considering that Yelenis has closed her office on Calle 70 #53-47. Royal hotel was astronomical at $130k, so I returned to San Francisco.

Positives:
*Cheap - $45k pesos/night (no AC)
*The room was clean, modern with good view and layout.
+Cool Breeze, no AC needed,
+COmputers and wireless Internet access,
+100 channels
+Meet real Colombian professionals
+Interesting open air lobby
+Closer to where the chicas live
+No gay mafia like in San Fran-sicko

Negatives:
- The desk could never help me, jamas, even when I spoke Spanish
- The porters were tonto and could never helped me.
- Outages with computers, Internet, and cable TV
- The worst feature is that most services, restaurants and entertainment is distant.
- I'm told it's too dangerous to wander around after dark, so I behaived after having been challenged in the Cali street fighting championships in 2006. I won by knockout, but was out of action for 3 months with a bruised hip from a body slam.

Recomendation: I wouldn't stay here unless you were broke and wanted to save money or unless you are ok with centro.
