Default Question

Stupid question since I was there last year. When is Carnaval? I am about 99% sure it starts Feb. 17. What are the official dates?

E-man -

It is a floater, date wise. I am not POSITIVE but believe that it is the second Tuesday that starts it. If I still did know I would not have lost my status as an alterboy.

Love - Micky

Thanks for the info.

Micky, I know a guy, in his alterboy days, that always got busted by the priest because he wouldn't pour enough wine in the priest's chalice during mass. The priest would tap the wine bottleneck with the chalice (more, MORE). Of course their backs were turned to the congregation, so nobody knew what was going on. He did it on purpose LOL.

Enicnoman, carnaval has to do with the roman catholic practice of lent, it usually ends on the tuesday before ASH WEDNESDAY, and the commencement of LENT.

I know for you it is a big party to meet girls!!!

Come to think of it, itr usually is for me, but than again I am only 1/2 catholic!

Here is a great website a friend sent me!

Encinoman,

I'd go to the website and write to them for the specific dates. This year it was Feb. 2-5.
