Aparta Hotel: que paso?

Hey, anyone know what's happeneing at the Aparta Hotel on 21 Norte? I stayed in the suite there for CP 38,000 per night last year. Was only there for 5 days.

I had a friend call for me. Today, she tells me the daily rate (not the gringo rate) for 14 days is CP 78,000. Can that be right? The exchange rates are still more or less the same.

That's a pretty steep inflationary increase ........

The manager there is very dishonest and corrupt. Also it is very unsafe there. Stay there at your own risk! Search the archives for more info and warnings. It is the worst managed hotel I've been to in my lifetime.

I think when we were there, they had just opened and had low prices to establish a customer base. The second month I was there they raised the price 10k/night. Also, I've read so many bad thing about them recently that I don't know if I'd go back there now.

How many times does it need to be said? Do not stay at the Del Rio Aparta-Hotel!

Well, I just got back a couple days ago. Stayed in Aparta for 8 nights & paid CP 50.000 / night.

Seemed OK for now.

So Bogart, did you ever go back to Cali - or did 4 months in Colombia last year burn you out? Just curious......

It is the best hotel in the town. I had been there and enjoyed my stay over there. Staff are very friendly are well-mannered. They provide us best service and luxurious package.
