Default The Art of Diego Cortes Escobar....

Gentlemen -

Mr. Cortes is a long-time Caleno artist living in Cali Colombia and his art is high quality and not expensive. I can vouch for him as a serious guy doing good work and if I were living in Cali and wanted to decorate my new Crib, I'd give Diego a call and have him do me up some nice wall paintings.

Diego's email is diegocortesescobar@yahoo.com

*For The Record - we receive no kickbacks, cash monies or any freebies whatsoever for recommending Mr. Cortes or anyone for that matter. We just think he's a nice guy trying to make a decent living as an artist living in Colombia.

Dear Gringos:
I am enclosing some pics of my Art work for you guys to see, in particular a description of my God given talent that came to me on April 18th, 1981, many years ago in Washington D.C. at the German Embassy. This is an important resume because in a short way it informs people of what I can do overall very fast. The then Beethoven Society President, Maria Fisher back many years ago had with me a number of series of Concerts there and she wrote the page that I am sending you today. I will be playing a Violin and Piano Recital this coming July 6th for a special event in Palmira, close to Cali in the Valle del Cauca at 6:30pm and I am open to see what favorable response I could get with GringosTalk. I am a positive person so lets expect good answers. So, until soon when I hear from you again. I am your friend in the Arts. Sincerely, Diego Cortes Escobar

I have often thought of looking for art in Colombia. My major concern is how to get it safely back to the US.
