What do you recommend for the best school to learn spanish for foreigners??
my spanish is beginner/immerdiate, i want to be fluent in spanish within 2-3 years. The only way its going to happen to is immerse in a latin country for atleast 6 months and learn spanish.
What college or school do you recommend??? I heard of EAFIT in medellin... any one have suggestions in cali???? links???? your thoughts??
Im currently taking Spanish For Foreigners at the National University in Bogota, which has the reputaiton of being the best university in the country.
The campus is a dump, but the quality of instruction Ive had is excellent.
if you need more, such as fabulous tropical scenery , women walking aorund showing a lot of skin..etc., obviously Bogota isnt right for you.
The program at the National University is five levels, you take an exam to determine placement (and pay for one level to be detemined), unless you want to start from level 1. Each level lasts 8 weeks, 2 hours a day M through F. Each level costs 584,000 pesos
There's a Spanish Immersion class at the Universidad Del Norte in Barranquilla. I'm beginning the class in July of 2010. From what I've read it's one of the most prestigious programs SOTB. It's very highly recommended for people majoring in Spanish here in the states that choose to do an immersion study abroad.
yeah, i would prefer in a city where its warmer.. like cali, medellin, or the carribean coast. i been to bogota before, a little too chilly for me.
and yeah, it would be nice to have alot of women walking around showing alot of skin. that would motivate me study harder!!! lol
how long have you been taking classes there??
