Cali dangerous during elections?

A buddy left this morning, (Friday) and said the plane was oversold with families getting out before the elections this Sunday. Has anyone heard any static about this?

I can say that election day in BQ (I was at the Royal across from a polling station) is safer that a non-election day in Cali. (Colombian Street Fighting Championships CSFS).
