Question

Based on quite a few comments I've read in various threads I started wondering if Cali is over fished at this point?

Kind of sounds like that

Cali is a city of more than 3 million people. Only parts of the pond have been tapped. There are hidden coves with the most abundant wildlife you can imagine.

Depends on what you are fishing for, KAlel21

Lets be real here, they have much contact with foreigners, so they are more realistic on how things go. they have learned some of the gold digging ways or our AW"s & Euro sisters. On the other hand, if you want to meet a latina, this may be one o the more easier places to go, from what I gather.

In all perspective, I can see Cali as having positives and negatives from what Kalel calls fishing!

Positives
- they understand the dynamics of the relationship between gringo & latina
- a lot more english speakers
- they many beautiful women (by the truckloads)
- they also have a lot of ammenities when travelling there versus small cities.

Negatives
- more golddiggers
- they are probably more street smart and savvy than other woman

FOR ME< I have come to this conclusion about Cali, COLOMBIA, & LAM in general. There are good women and bad. Some of the bad ones know how to scam you and some of the other bad ones haven't learned how to do that yet, if they haven't learned there, they will probably do it on your dime up here!

the good ones are good ones, whether they are in Cali, Manizales, Barraquila, Argentina, or here, doesn't matter, if they are good they are good!

I always appreciated a woman that has already created her value system in life. That is why I think these women we seek, need to be in their late 20"s at least, at least for me.

Now the only data we don't really know about or may never, is what is going to cause the difference of creating the bad versus the good woman.

Is it the environment? family? Living in Cali?LOL!!!! War? Drugs? What is it? When they figure that all out I am sure our world may change for the better!

LL i think living there is a biggie. i spoke to a few latinas from all over LA over the months and if you aren't living there or coming frequently then your not getting too far or she wouldn't be yours. This is Especially if she is a decent lady. No one wants to fell like they are some one elses holiday squeeze.

Some chicas don't even take me seriously about dating unless I am going to be there for at least 6mths, a year at most. This is what leads me to think that living or frequently visiting could work in your favor.

KP so true what you said. I definately do not a want to be a monger.

My dear friend K21, I would first conduct a search history of posts of that certain author who posted that very question on another board. Second, once you familiarize yourself with that persons post history, his way of thinking and demeanor, you will conclude that no matter how you cut it...some people are destined for the life of fast women [P4P] and they couldnt win the affections of a real woman no matter how hard they try. Karma is definitely a *****!

Answer; No. Its not overfished. To a certain monger it might be, but to regular guys looking for a nice sweet girl, it's not.

Free your mind bro...

Kalel21 my novia lives there dude. If you are going to go and meet a nice woman, maybe a potential life partner, than there are many great woman, there. I know this because in my short time there, all I met were great people, but than how could I have not, my novia and her family and friends are solid big hearted Colombianas!

I don't want this to come off wrong, but I think you are in your early twenties? right Kalel21? I would agree that maybe these women have some concerns on if you are ready for a real relationship. Not that you aren't but up until my early 30's the last thing I wanted to hear; was lets get married.

I personally in all the maybe 100 women I spoke to or chatted with or met from SOTB, over the last 2 years, not once did I hear that they would not have anything to do with me unless I lived there for 6 months or anytime at all. Of course, we need to go there. I am going on my second trip to Cali soon. I hope to get to know my novia a little better and really see if I am interested in having a long term relationship with her.

Whoa! LL man chill out I ain't looking to get married. You had me sweating for a minute bro when you mentioned the M word. Not this gringo. But I definately want to have a girlfriend down there or a few. I am still young so I can play around abit. But not monger :    .

My parents have bought a place in Dom Republic and will be planning on retiring there. My Uncle is juggliing betweeen a place in Costa rica or Panama. So I can use those places as head quaters and fly to colombia from there when I go down south again.

I didn't explain myself well. The ladies didn't say they want nothing to do with me. They said we can be buddies but they wouldn't want to date a guy whose not around. The last girl to tell me that was an argentinian and before her was a paisa (they don't have kids).

Going to Brazil MAY have been the best thing that ever happened to me. Ever since I got back from Brazil I look at english women differently. I don't even feel bad when they reject me now because once upon a time I was in a country where women were no where near as stuck up.

congrat on the gem you found (your novia)

HAHAAH! K-man, no I did not mean to mention that m-word to you in that context. Have fun while your young, but remember many of these woman are marriage minded at a very young age, different from our Stuck up Sisters!!!

If you tell them that you are just looking for a girlfriend, they might get the wrong impression. I would present the idea that you are just taking it slowly without mentioning the m-word. Because you never know one of them may capture your heart. They are very good at that!

Thanks for the congrats, but I too work slowly and I like to see how it goes for awhile. Although this gem is very good at keeping me interested!

By the way it sounds like your family is on the right track. It is awesome you will have that type of connection to the carribean and LAM!
