I saw it when I was there but did not stay there, I have heard good things about it! Hopefully LA or someone who has can chime in!

I've seen it but never stayed there. The Intercontinental isn't too far away, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Always something going on, good food, nice pool, good security, nice suites. At about $125/night +-, including breakfast, the only other place I might consider is the Dann.

I don't know this hotel. When I go to Cali, I stay at the El Penon Hotel. It is around the corner from the Dann and the Intercontinental. The cost is about $60-$70 including breakfast. Tell them Mr. Joe from the USA send you and mit get a brake. Here is a nice restuarant close,to take your lady el Refugio del Penon.

Claude, the Hotel owner made one promotional post advertising his Hotel never to return again and has never bothered to contact us in return for the favor. In my opinion, Avenida Sexta is nothing like its hay day back in the 70s, 80s and early to late 90s. The area can be dangerous at night and most decent gals wouldnīt be caught dead near this trashy three mile strip in north Cali and late night strolling is not advisable. I know a lot of work went into renovating the building and Gonzalo Zuniga, a one time Gringo facilitator was the general contractor. In my opinion, Cali Plaza is most likely a tax write off and a quick resident visa for the American owner. If it were me, Iīd stay at the Inter, the Dann or even the Vizcaya Real Hotel just down the street for the same or less money. Stay at the Vizcaya Real and ask Hugo for the Gringos discount.

I stay at the Hotel Nevada. Sure, it is expensive at 22,000,(about $9) but the screens on the doors are new and they have color tv!
