Question

Maybe I am wrong, and I hope I am.. but it appears that there are no direct flights from the NYC area to Cali. They all fly to Bogota or Medellin first.. and then to Cali. Are there any direct flights to Cali from any USA City ?

Charlie...Encino was kind enough to post some really great fares from American last night, that I'll re-post again here:

American Airlines SAAver Fares and Specials

From JFK to Cali is listed as $478.00 RT

Hope this helps...get on the plane!!!

I know there are direct flights from Miami and Houston. Not sure about any other cities. American Airlines flies direct from Miami to Cali, and Copa flies direct from Houston (you can book the flights via Continental if you need a connecting flight within the US as Copa and Continental have a partnership to service South America.)

Thanks guys........
I was really looking for a NON-STOP flight to Cali. I checked up on all the info above and nothing is non-stop from NYC, which turns it into an 8 hour + ordeal to get to Cali. We have NON-STOP flights leaving NYC to Bogota & Medellin and at just over 5 hours.. its VERY attractive. If I'm going to hook up with a gal in Colombia.. I want it to be as stress free as possible.... so I guess Cali is out for me.
