does a latino have a chance finding a bride

hello i am new to this board and also to the whole experiance of marriage agencies. I am a latin male that was born and raised in the US 2nd generation and was raised by a white stepfather so i really have no connection to my latin brethren other than skin color and that i speak basic spanish. I am wondering if i have a chance in this community to find a wife or will just be wasting my money because these women are only looking for white american or european. I understand the stigma associated with the latin man but as one i can honestly say they are not all the same. I have never cheated dont drink or smoke and dont go out so i guess the stigma doesnt apply to all. I also am not looking for a slave or a maid i am looking for a women that can voice her ideas but with respect her husband and be faithfull above all else. Am i looking in the right spot thank you any help will be greatly appreciated

I am a Rookie with respect to LA also, but if it is one thing I have learned over the years is a person with a good heart always stands out. This does not mean that you will necessarily be treated fairly by ALL women, but it does mean that when you come across the "right" woman she will know it. Most likely she will know it before you do.

you don't have to worry...I'm myself half cuban raised in Africa and EUROPE and now I'm fluent in spanish...Some LAW find it cut and they're more interested by you....I saw that and felt it too...But as cap'n jib said you won't be treated well by all girls; you have just to let it go and keep looking for the right girl; and I learned something, it's all depend on your attitude, the way you treat her y si tu sabes vailar en tercero...LAW love to dance and be well treated. I'm sure you won't have any problem,just feel comfortable, secure and you're GOOD TO GO...

thanks to both for your insight that is what i figured but just wanted to see if others had first hand knowledge it really helps a lot especially to know i am not the only one with this idea and background

If you're a nice person who is reasonably responsible and not just plain scary to look at, you'll do fine.

Hey Dragon, interesting that you should say that. I have met a few latinas and for some reason because I am of Irish decent they think I am an angry drunk !!! Hmmm... Well that is not true, at least not since my early twenties!!!

I never really heard that until lately when I have been emailing these women !!! There is all kinds of judgement and racism with these latinas !! But I heard it earlier, theres at least 1 (maybe a 100 or 1000) that will float your boat!! LOL [img]tongue.gif[/img]

yeah my family knows what i am planning and why i am planning to marry abroad and the first thing my mom said was that latina's or the latin community in general tend to have stigmas about their culture as well as other cultures and that they judge before even getting to know. But i believe that is a lack of education. So if you find a upper middle class girl she would probably be educated and wont have those stigmas as least that is my hope.

Yeah I too am always worried about Racism. Being a dark-skinned English man (or an Afro-European if such a word exist) I find myself always worrying
how women will react to a darker skinned foreigner. In Brazil a darker skinned guy has little chance hooking up with a "Morena" (Brazilian for lighter skinned women with dark hair). I found the lighter chicks very arrogant and self centered HAVING SAID THAT it doesn't mean it doesn't exist its just alot less common. I suppose the same would work in Colombia. For example I'm told places like Medellin are pretty racism but I would like to think that isn't the case.

i seems to me that from what i have heard that if you go for a poorer country girl you have a better chance of meeting a non racist wife that if you go for a upper middle class because from what i understand country girls dont live such sheltered lives so they see more and except more am i right in this theory
