Exclamation

Aparta Hotel del Rio
Calle 21 North #2N-10
660-2713
Mini-Suite: $19/night

Stayed here several days. Very nice. Very chica-friendly. Big, clean rooms and good service. And NO, I'm not getting any 'comission' for this plug.

PS -- Anyone who goes, tell the hotel clerk Sandra that Mustang said hello.

Thanls Mustang, going to Cali in a week and may need a hotel to stay at. Is this hotel close to any malls, avenida sexta, etc. Only my second trip down and don't know the layout of Cali yet. If I stay here, I'll say hello to Sandra for you.

Thumbs up

All right, guy. You're going to love this place. Trust me. I'm jealous and I just got back!

The malls are not within walking distance, but no more than a $2-$3 cab ride away. But, the "Instituto Meyer" is right around the corner and has TONS of gorgeous babes there all wanting to practise their English language skills with a gringo.

I have a friend there, if you're interested. He can smooth the road for you a little. E-mail me privately if you need his contact info.

I'm glad to see that you guys are discovering the advantages of the English schools.

Also worth checking out are the English schools under the "Centro Cultural" name. The "Centro Cultural" in Costa Rica was phenomenal. The "Meyer" schools are found throughout Colombia; the "Centro Cultural" schools are found throughout Latin America.

Any info on English schools in Colombia that also offer Spanish classes to foreigners would be greatly appreciated. The "Centro Cultural" - probably - is one option. In Costa Rica, they offered Spanish for foreigners.
