Need Lodging Information

Hey everyone. I am going to visit Colombia and will be on a somewhat tight budget. I will be hitting Cali, Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena and Santa Marta.

Can anyone provide me with some of the cheapest places to stay in these cities. I would like to know the cheapest hotels and the cheapest rooms for rent in personal homes.

I know many of you know this information and I am basically new at this.

Renting a room in a home is possible but for such a short stay, I advise against it. A Hostel is the cheapest way I know of and every city you listed has Hostels. A search on Google with key words 'Hostels Colombia' will help you there.
