Questions about Cali? Or other towns?

I guess it is better to open a new forum if someone really has something to ask about Cali, otherwise answers will disappear in other topics...

To anyone, I am living here in Cali permanently, so I´ll try to answer in any kind of question you might have.

I also can answer to questions concerning Bogota, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Santa Marta, San Andres etc...

Yeah, bro, I would like to rent a cell phone while I am Cali this coming December. Do you happened to know a reliable place/store with reasonable rates that rents cell phones, or would you recommend that I just buy one, and then sell it before I depart back to Gringoland?

Note: I think I am the only human being in Orlando, Florida who has never owned a cell phone. Hell, I never needed one...hahahaha.

As you probably already know it's impossible to get a good turkey and ham in Colombia. So I'll be bringing both with me when I come back to Cali in Nov.

John, the easiest way is to buy one, a prepaid normal Nokia will cost you around 70000-90000 pesos, that is 30-40 dollars.
I can take you to a place where there`s not that much paperwork, nothing. You just buy it, 5 minutes and ready, use it.
And why sell it? I might assume you will come back again...

Calipro, I just bought it because I got so so so tired with taxis that are normally lost here and I have to tell everytime where to go

The other thing is the safety reason, there exist aprox. two "taxistas" in Cali who know how to drive.

If you want to go to the place that has an actual "place" you can assume we will stay there a lot longer (and all that paperwork)
