Great photos ... I think I prefer the thumbnails.

I really love the picture of the lady in the dress, and the one with the nuns. Ahh, and Parque Bolivar ... my favourite hangout!

The black lady with a dress was smoking a cigar later that day, it was a classic carribean shot, but my battery went dead right before I took it..

I enjoyed the photos. Hope to get back to Cartagena sooner than later. Last time I was there was when my wife and I were dating, about 3 1/2 years ago. Really enjoy the old city as well as taking a boat out to the islands. And I LOVE the limonado they make there - frozen.

I'll thumbnail a few more fotos of the walled city and the monuments near by! As i can see the board is dead these days, I hope everyone is on or was on vacation like me!

Nothing better than walking around the city at night. The views were awesome, the heat cooled down.

My mind is blank right now, I cant remember the name of the fortress, but it is amazing, tunnels throughout it and the history there is rich.. I never knew Catalina (replicated with the statue) was a real woman, who was captured by the spanish and is famous for helping the spanish, rape, pilege, and kill off the indegenous of colombia...

A must see, although I admit the spanish on the coast is much harder for me to understand, by the time I got to cartagena I was understanding most of what I was hearing!!
