Women of all ages are drawn to men who are confident, self-assured, successful, and have social status. Bad boys generally fit into several of those categories. Having "wealth", means you can act and play in a way that men who are less successful, less self assured, less cocky can't.

And in most women of a young age there is almost always an attitude of, "I can make him better."
