K-1? K-3? What kind of visa?

We are tring to get a K-3 visa.I got my approval notice.

Next is the I-129F. Do you have someone helping you (lawyer, etc.)? Or are you doing this on your own (which is doable)? It's been a while for me, but I might be able to help. ANother good resource is visajourney.com. There are "guides" for the various types of visas and also forums that will help you as you go through the process of I-130, I-129f, embassy interview, adjustment of status, etc. In many of the forums you will find a thread called "Club Colombia" that will have posts specifically from people who have gone through the visa process in Colombia.
