Does anyone know if they are requiring the guy to show up at the interview now. Or is this an option?

Is anyone here who recently went thru the K-1 process....especially who did it themself?

Will Big Bill tie the knot? Are we invited to the wedding? I always forget, does the Groom or Bride foot the bill? I went thru the process with the help of my attorney ($$$). Not easy, pain the butt, red tape, waiting in long lines, kickbacks, etc. But when it`s all said and done, true happiness! -Sigmund Freud

Open up that wallet Bill!

Best of luck Bill.

Question

Bill, I'd actually like to know the answer to that question as well.

Ray, do you think the process has changed much since you did it? My Chilean contacts still tell me that it's in who you plead your case to, and who does the expediting of the paperwork.

Thoughts gentlemen?

Answer- there is no specific requirement that the USC petitioner attend the interview. However, that said, if there is a large gap in age or a language barrier, we usually recommend that our clients attend the interview. The presence of the USC tends to cut the length of the interview and lessens the officer leaning to delaying or denying visa issuance.
