Default Miami to Salvador, Brazil

Hey Peeps,

Just purchased my ticket to go back to Salvador. I couldn't pass up the price of the ticket. Miami-Salvador $586.00 round trip! I am leaving at the end of november and will be back about the middle of january. Anyone else going down?

Meatsauce,

Good luck. Two months is a GREAT period of time to get to know a place.

What made you choose Salvador?

Plane ticket prices have dropped significantly. I just got Houston to Miami to Barranquilla for $550 for a trip in October.

I've heard some "GREAT" things about Salvador. No matter what your reason is, I'm sure you'll have fun. Trip report and pictures when you return please.

I am going to brazil to see my girlfriend. I have been there several times. If it wasn't for my girlfriend living in Salvador, I wouldn't go there. I might get some heat for this but I am not to keen on Salvador. Most people rant and rave about it, I just don't see it. I love the northeast: Maceio, Recife, are a lot better cities.

Salvador is the smallest country and one of the best. The land is bursting with natural attractions, including the Cerro Verde National Park. A well-maintained and practically deserted national park is found in the west at Bosque El Imposible. It is gaining a reputation for having some of the best surfing in the world.
