Just Back From Cartagena.....

hey guys,
Just got back late last night from C-Gena. My fiance from BQ met me there and we stayed at an apartment that she had rented...It was OK, but not for $80/night. The name of the apartment building is Christopher Colombo...I don't recommend it. Houndog was staying at the Portofino which was both cheaper and nicer. The landlord (who owned two apts) even let us spend our last night there for free in hopes we would use it next time....I liked it alot...I have his number if you want it.

As far as my trip report goes, the weather was definately better this time as there was a very nice breeze and less humid. Spent alot of time at the beach with my girl.

One thing that was very interesting was the festival of the Virgin Mary, which was on Saturday afternoon...they bring in all the cowboys and their horses and have a big parade on the streets...one helluva time...I will put some pics up on my Cartagena page in a few days....
