I'd like anyones tips on whats the most practical words/phrases to learn for a trip to Brazil? Apart from the basic everyday stuff-do you know what language books/software/websites that'll help a novice to learn basic/medium Brazil Portuguese quickly.

Take a look at the archives: Bueller posted quite a bit to my recollection about several programs/books/tapes back around the MAY time period. Do you have any other language skills presently that might give you a leg up?
