Here's one I think most will find interesting...

Eros Ramazotti and Tina Turner...

...doing a Spanish/English Duet...and Tina blasts Eros off the video with that powerhouse voice of her's...but great music nonetheless...

...here's a little taste of some music from O Brasil!!!

One of Brasil's favorite singer's, is Daniela Mercury. So, here you go, see what you think -

Daniela Mercury e Araketu in Concert

And here are two greats together - Daniela Mercury and Roberto Carlos

...and Daniela singing "Axe Axe" during Carnaval en Salvador - 2005

Here's a bit of nostalgia!!

I browsed through the YouTube archives, and came up with some history.

Here's a "35+/- year comparison of Celia Cruz -

1967 -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=221UAPLXEuw

2003 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lArGoRhFr4E

That...is a pretty lengthy music career, I don't care who you are.

As an added treat, take a look at this performance of Celia, with Tito Puente, Johnny Pacheco, and Tito's band. (if you don't know who Tito Puente is, find out).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqKNQqY2WQU

So, who is Tito Puente you ask? Hmmmm....take a look at the man in action...6 handed percussion action along with Sheila E and Pete Escovedo -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0YGMVAZ97o

...and Tito performing for his daughter's 30th birthday with his entire band ensemble -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVEgbv12ncc&NR

Dr. (x2) Tito Puente - not bad for a kid from Harlem, eh?

...you're absolutely right Hermano! It would be great to get some feedback, unless of course the only three people that are enjoying this thread are LastLion, Cubafro, and myself....which, although would be a sad thing, would be perfectly okay with me.

I love the music we've been putting up here for all to enjoy...tengo muchos recuerdos buenos con esta musica...and it's so much a fabric of life in LAm, that if you're not with the program, you should be.

Great music hermanito....

I still can't believe that "NONE" of the other guy's on this board are taking a look at some of the great acts of all time.

Tonight though, I have a treat for everyone...this is a classic from O'Brasil. I almost forgot that this even existed, but the "scenery" is outstanding in this little video.

This is a group from Brasil, that hit it big during the Summer of 1996 with this little gem of a song....

E o Tchan - Danca do Bumbum -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJNCzou8f5E

...this is just one that you're going to have to watch for yourself to believe it...it actually became a craze in Brasil for the better part of a year, with weekly shows on Globo to see who had the better "one".

Take a look...and if you're not reading this thread, you should've been...
