Default Learning Spanish From Podcasts

We've come a long way in the past few years, no longer needing a shortwave radio to try to bring in foreign radio programs to augment language studies. I've subscribed to several podcasts from Radio France, and am getting to where only about 50% of the dialog goes over my head. Fortunately, France's forte is culture, so many of the broadcasts are quite edifying and enlightening, more than making up for the fact that most French music is hopelessly goofy.

For any of you who would like to try the same with quality Spanish radio, here's a good link, from La página del idioma español. You can select the country- Bogotá, Colombia has one of the clearest accents in the Spanish-speaking world:

Heck, that link is so good I just deleted the other half-dozen links I was about to post.

Here's one for Portuguese, although PT has the advantage of having some of the coolest-sounding music in the world:

Yes, here is an outstanding (IMO) exception, the best I've found so far:

They apparently have a big following in Argentina and Chile. I bought the first two albums, but the third, named "album of the year" by Libération, isn't for sale in the States.

Ray, try some of these at the gym, in the car, etc.:

These are kind of (!) expensive, but they give excellent clarity and can protect your hearing when you're trying to listen when there's ambient noise around:
