On DirecTV, on HGTV, I highly recommend you watch House Hunters International. This is a great show about Ex Pats, couples and singles that choose to buy a 2nd home in countries outside the United States ...and no, I am not co-owner of the network!

I've even picked up new tips and tricks!

The show airs 2/3 times a week on HGTV.

As a long time real estate guy, if you live six months a year in South America, I highly advise you invest in a 2nd home of your own.

I'm renting a home in Cali. It pencils out better, etc. But I might buy one next time I visit, not necessarily from an investment standpoint, though you could probably put your money worst places, like maybe the bank.

I saw a nice one for about 150k. 4 bedroom, 3 bath with a killer terrace, near Exito Del Norte last time I was there in February. My wife told me it sold.

I also saw a lot of crap also in the same or higher price range. Unbelievable how crappy some of the homes were shown. Crap all over the place.

I'm not a handyman, unfortunately, so I want something turn key.

John, do you feel Mr. LaRouche should be our next President? That said, he's got interesting perspectives and he was close to Reagan. I wonder what Tinto thinks about his ideas.... or conspiracy theories about his views on 9/11?

He's 85, so he may be a little to old to be President.

It's only necessary that whoever the next President is takes his advice, and we just might make it through the world financial collapse we're now in the midst of.

Lyn predicted a Reichstag type fire, false flag incident, you know where the Nazi's burned down their Congress, and blamed it on those damn communists, their scapegoat of the day. Fascists nearly always use perpetual warfare as part of their political rule, and Cheney is no different.
I won't blame George W. for having a political philosophy, because he's probably not that intelligent.

Yeah I think 9/11 was an inside job. It was just all a little too convenient for Cheney et al. as a pretext for them to carry out the war plans, they'd had prepared since the last Bush administration. Fortunately, George H. was not quite as stupid as his son and told the crazy neo-cons. i.e. Dirty Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, et al. to back off.

If you want to know more about 9/11 look to BAE systems a British Corporation, that paid billions of dollars of bribes over a number of years to Saudi Prince Bandar. The people on the plane's carried out their mission, but Bin Laden from his cave with his cell phone wouldn't have been capable of carrying out such a sophisticated mission on his own. He was just a convenient patsy. He had in fact been funder by our own CIA, during the first Bush administration, as part of the Mujahadeen group, who we used to defeat the Soviet Union in Afgahnistan in the 80s.

LaRouche: Today's BAE Scandal, and the Force Behind 9/11

June 23, 2007 (LPAC)--Discussing the exploding British mega-scandal around the huge BAE Systems arms firm, at his June 21 Washington webcast, U.S. statesman and economist Lyndon LaRouche touched on the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Speaking of the current war and economic crisis, LaRouche said that BAE "is not the cause of the problem, it is a symptom of the problem: Is that more and more, under a system which was established, a change in the system established with the election of a non-person as a President, George W. Bush, Jr., under his chimpanzee keeper, the Vice President, that the world was being run, more and more, by what is behind the BAE. The BAE is actually better known as the British Empire. Some people call it the 'Brutish Empire.'

"Now, not all the people in England are guilty of this. Many of them, even who are Brits, or who believe in the imperial system, or the British Empire or whatever, think that what is being done now by BAE is insane. They think that other things are insane: They know that the idea of a global warming swindle is a hoax--they know that. They know it's totally unscientific, and could not be sold to a society in which science was still known as a subject for most people of that generation. And therefore, not because they are anti-British, but because they know that the system which is being run by the Blair government and its associates in the British system--being run by Blair's friend Cheney, and others--that this system is clinically insane. And therefore, they object to it. And they raised objections to it, which are registered in places like the London Guardian--called Guardian Unlimited these days--and the British BBC, and other locations.

"There was virtual silence on the subject of this, at least to its substance, inside the United States itself. And this terrorist event was used on that night, or the following day, to install Hitler with dictatorial powers, which Hitler never lost, until the day he died!

"And I said then: The danger is that something like this will occur, under present trends in the United States, and it did occur: And it was called 9/11.

"Now, without going into the details of what we know and what we don't know about how 9/11 was orchestrated, we know that the only means by which this kind of thing is orchestrated, is found in one location: in a financial complex which is centered in the identity of the BAE.

"Now, that's the mystery of 9/11. How it was done, the mechanics, that's irrelevant. We'll find out. And everybody in and around government who understands these matters, knows that!

"And that's where the heat is, here."

John, are you serious? I realize the economy sucks but you honestly think we're involved in a world collapse? About 9/11, I'm not one to dig up horrible memories, but I have a hard time believing our own Government was responsible.

I believe some in our government such as Cheney were involved either by witting ommission or commission. And I believe the BAE and Prince Bandar of Saudia Arabia were also, principally involved. As I stated I don't believe a boogey man in a cave in Afghanistan with a cell phone had the military capability or resources to pull of a military operation as sophisticated as what happened on 9/11.

The global financial casino economy is bankrupt. There is not a credit crisis, so no amount of money pumping will do anything but devalue currencies at an accelerating rate. Study 1923 Weimar Germany, and the hyperinflation that destroyed their nation, as an example of the path we are on.

There is a solvency crisis. There is so much financial crap out there i.e. CDO's, derivatives, CMOs etc. levaraged to the tune of quadrillions of dollars so that there is no way that they can be repaid.

If we continue trying to bail out this Enron style financial black hole the United States will be finished as a nation state, and we will be part of a globalized dictatorship, and the population will be reduced by several billion people, and if we are "lucky" we may possibly live through the worst financial crash since the Dark Ages, and the living hell that entails.

Of course we can put the system through bankruptcy re-organization, and protect the chartered financial banks as FDR did upon assuming office in 1933, and tell the financial swindlers to go to hell, and that the pyramid scheme has come to an end, and the U.S. is returning to American System Priciples of Political Economy, and asserting it's sovereignty based on the Constitution, and turn this thing around.
