Credit Cards For Air Miles

Can anyone recommend a good business CC that includes air miles for various airlines? I have 1 but the limit is too low at $12,500 per month. Takes forever to get a ticket south. I need one that will start at a minimum of $20k per month, preferably $30k+.

I ordered another one from Capital One with a limit up to $20k depending on my Credit Report. I have a very high credit score. They sent a notice of congradulations that I was approved for $2k I told them to keep it as I couldn't even buy groceries on that ridiculous amount.

I'm looking for something other than American Express. I will not do business with those arrogant incopitant clowns.

Tonk Amex may suck. But I do most of my business recurring costs with amex , than pay it off approximately 15 k per month. Than I have a business visa, and a personal visa. I can get about 5-7 over see or south of the border trips a year out of it!!! Not including hotels! I take 3 or 4 than I send employees somewhere! I would reconsider amex. they may be arragant but you get good mileage deals out of them!

Capital one is good, you should see what they are talking about I have a business line with 20K .. It lets yo pick your airlines and has no blackout dates.

It's only good for AA, but that's the airline I usually fly, I flew Delta last month, not a good experience, lost luggage both ways for 3 days, and traveling with a women that means a trip to buy new clothes.

I use a Citibank AA advantage card, works great for me, I usually get 1 or two free flights a year, living here I use my credit card to buy most things and just pay the balance each month and receive one mile for each dollar spent.

AMX is offering a mileage credit card with Delta. I didn't need an additional AMX card as I have one already through Costco but when making reservations recently with Delta they told me about their AMX/Delta card and if I signed up I'd get 15,000 miles and an additional 5,000 if I signed up a family member.

The only a couple hitches are the miles don't apply to your Delta account until you actually use the card, and after the first year there is a yearly fee unlike Costco's version. Plus, the additional card I'm responsible for so have serious doubts if I will forward that one on to my beloved son. I may impersonate him and make a purchase on it as Tinto junior.

I thought the small amount of time giving them my information was worth the 20,000 miles I will receive.

I forgot to mention, for the Dela trip I earned 11,800 Sky miles, I'll not be using them, I know nothing about Delta miles, but if they are transferable and anyone wants them, they can have them.

Oh, y'all are killin' me with Amex. Those *******s cost me $40k once :mad:

12 years ago I tried to set them up in my business CC machine. With Visa and MC you do it over the phone with a simple...I want it. Amex said I had to fill out about 40 pages of bull****. I said I simply wanted to be able to set them up on my machine, so how 'bout setting me up? No harsh words were spoken. The prick on the other end of the line snapped back "You will do it our way or we won't allow you to use our services!" They'd make a fortune off me but wanted to play hard to get.

Needless to say they left a bad taste in my mouth and many businesses in my (red) neck of the woods refuse to accept Amex cards because they charge about double the going rate and because they also think they're an arrogant company. The $40k loss came after with $ I had invested in that ****hole for my retiremant that had nothing to do with 9/11.

LL and Co., I might have to swallow my pride and get one of their, gag puuuuuuuke , cards With the $ I put on one every month, I should never have to buy a plane ticket again. My CapitalOne MilesOne card only has a measley $12,500 limit. My 2 other non mileage cards have a $25k limit. I run about $30k per month on cards. I ought to be able to buy Colombia for what cards make off me.

CV, I use Delta almost exclusively but want a card that I can use with most any airline.

Amex huh? I'd rather buy Citgo gas and drink French champagne I'll check it out tomorrow...thanks for the leads!

Tonk all your cards shouyld be mileage cards. I mean **** it only costs $50 a year and some are free.

Hey Tonk,
Citi has a business MC or Visa AAdvantage Card. It is a business card so I would guess it is more than $10,000 for the average customer. With a high FICO you should be able to get more.

Right now you get 20,000 miles after you use the card a certain amount(plus 1 mile per $1 of purchases). You also get 10,000 additional mile after you reach a certain first year spend and 10,000 more points in the second year after a certain spend.

I believe it is capped at 150,000 miles earned per year. The annual fee right no is $0 for the first 12 months and then $75 per year.

I can understand your frustration with AMEX and their charging merchants so much for the "privilege" of doing business with them. I resisted a long time accepting any credit cards in my business but finally caved in the last few years. At least it cut down on bounced check fees then trying to get reimbursed from the customers. :mad:

Why AMEX can get away with charging merchants more than Visa or MC is beyond me but wouldn't it feel nice getting enough miles from them to get a free ticket? Let's see, with you joining up they give you 15k, then sign up each of your four chitlins, use each card once and you have enough for a RT SA FFM seat! Cancel your membership before the year is up and you aren't out a dime. Gotta love that!
