Default HSBC Anyone?
Today, I got a letter about my BestBuy Rewards Mastercard. My credit limit was reduced from $8500 to $300. I called to find out what the deal was, they said this was a business decision due to the economy.

I started looking online, and they are doing this to everyone with every type of HSBC credit card they have. So if you have a merchant branded card that is through HSBC... watch out. You will be next at some point soon.

In reading online, HSBC has been doing credit line decreases since January.

Its fine, I rarely use the card unless I get a deal at Best Buy with its use. But beware.

I told them to close my account...
