Biave,
We just left the ATM card that I was letting her use down in Colombia for her family to use...that is by far the easiest way in my opinion.

The ATM card option is still the best. I am not sure what Western Union charges for foreign transfers, but C2it charges 1% plus either a $10 or $15 charge on top of that I think.

Plus they only go to about 50 countries at present.

And they do NOT go to Colombia and have no plans to do so in the near future.

Whooops! I didn't see that the service is only available to 50 countries, which doesn't include Colombia.

Junfan is correct. The ATM card is the only way to go. I costs at most $1 per transaction and is instantaneous. Some machines run out of money and some only accept other people's ATM's but you can adjust to that.
