Don't have much to say, as I just returned, but I thought I would send some fotos for now!

fotos from the HOTEL "Ciudad Bonita"

FOTOS from centro, near the biblioteca y turistica centre

YOU can probably see like all big cities in COlombia, they are rebuilding the main roads and adding in the Special BUS LANES!

As you can see the police tourist center is closed! Of course LL goes there at lunch!

Side Note::: Bucaramanga is one of the cities that still really utilizes its 2 hour siestas in the days.

At lunch and sundays and holidays are really quiet compared to cali, bogota, medellin , and the coast of colombia!

Maybe that is why I loved it soooo much!

Here is a pic from my apartment, views of that DAMN DANN CALRTON HOTEL!!!

Also a couple from my neighborhood. Sotomoyo, which is right next to Cabacera, these are really the best neighborhoods in BUCA, outside of some communities that are basically residential! Cabecera is like Poblado en Medellin without the GRINGOS!!!!

Well, I am out of energy! I just returned from 2 weeks in Bucaramanga, San Gil, Baricahara, Guane, Zopotaca, Giron, and another dozen or so pueblitos in the 3+ hour zone around Bucaramanga~!

I really love that city, it has everything that all the other big cities has! Like Bogota, cali, medellin and the coast, it has it own personality!

I will post some pics later tommorrow or this week of some of the places I visited. I don't want to be a foto junkie, so let me know if this is worse than you home movie night with uncle JW??

I like to see pics of the places I go to before I go there to acquaint myself to it, so I thought I would do the same for you all!

No pics of me or my date, have to honor anonimity here !!!

Keep posting the pics Last Lion! Not many gringos here have been to Bucaramanga, and I am looking forward to hearing some details and seeing more pics. I would like to see pics of the other places you mentioned in Santander also, as all are of interest to me. Also, how did you travel from Bucaramanga to the other locations? Did you partake in any extreme sports in San Gil? Also, how do the women in Bucaramanga compare to women in other cities in Colombia? Look forward hearing more about your trip.

LL -
That's my man! It does look a little similar to Medellin. You all pay attention, everyone can have their own city here. LL is now officially BucaBoy. Very, very nice fotos LL, post more. It is nothing like home movies with tio JW, you can go to prison for watching his home movies. More fotos and a trip report or I go to HMB and open up a can of ass whoppin'. Glad to see you are home and had a safe trip.

Love - Micky

BUCABOY??? WHat ever happened to that guy! He posted here when I first got here!

Micky, I get you some details shortly!

Ricardo; I don't always recomend that people do things like ole LL here! It is definetely not for the weak or weak-minded and defintely not for the really intelligent guys ! hahahah

But FYI I travelled quite a bit in the country by bus, that is how we got to some of the towns like San gil about 2& 1/2 hours out of buca and returned that way! We hitched a ride a couple of times, we got some guides, we taxied and we went with family who had cars, when we were in the city!

I did not jump out of a plane or any river rafting! No time for that. I hiked the mountains, bathed under a humungous waterfall, scaled a mountain of waterfalls and all in my fricken jeans in the fricken hotttt jungle, because I forgot my f__n shorts. There are times to listen to your gal's boys!!

There are some amazing things to see out there, I will report more later, thanks for the kudos MICKY!!!!

LL,

Keep it coming, sounds like you had a good time, and even put that LUMIX to work.
