Airto, yes I am loving the new lumix.. Ok here are some shots of GIRON. So here is the deal about Giron, it is one of those historical cities abou 30 minutes from Buca. They have very strict architectual standars will not let anyone change the facade of their houses!

Church is letting out in front of the main square

Street life in Giron

Now if I can only post videos, I took a few great videos with my cam but cannot figure out how to upload and show them!!!!!!!

Ok a little more about the Bucaramanga area!

There is this great restaraaunt above Bucaramanga, past all the "Miradors" and about an hour up the hill from buca downtown.. Defintely a great 1/2 day trip and a great date place

La Niebla is the restaraunt, we ate here than wandered around the area for about 2 hours, it was cool compared to buca and the peacefullness was apparent.

A couple of fotos of the semi shanty towns you drive thru on the way up the hill

Ok so one of the hot spots near Bucaramanga is "Mesa de los Santos". It is a touristy place and prime spot for the rich of buca to have a finca!

this is a new central mercado, the colombians are very smart they are already working with and promoting green buidling pracitces, and as you all probably know the old school way to build a house there is with clay and a little bit or ****!~ seriously ****!

Views of Mesa de los santos and across the valley a ChicaMocha and huge toursit vista, where they are building a metro cable from the mesa to the top at chicamocha!

One of the roads up the other side to Chicamocha

Hey, what is the name of that area south of the city where the rich people live and the hanggliders soar each weekend? It was so quiet and beautiful there.
