Newbies ask a question ! We don't bite !

Hello to all the new posters , long time readers and lurkers.

Ask any question about Colombia..

Anything at all. We welcome you to post and ask questions. No questions is stupid.

When I started looking at Colombia over 4.5 years ago I could not even spell Colombia.

Welcome and jump in here. The water is warm but that is JW and Mickeys fault for going in the pool instead of the washroom.

So ask your questions right here in this thread if you like.

Gaby Espino...I'm telling you...if Venezuela wasn't so damn dangerous and socialist they'd take the entire foreign dating market away from Colombia. Miss Universe coming up this month...who wants to bet Miss Venezuela walks away with the crown again.

Ok! On that note.... How does Colombia compare with Brazil safety wise? I have lived in SP and Rio and speak fluent Port.- but did not when I arrived! My Spanish sucks but have some common sense in terms of being polite,where I maybe should not walk and so far have not had any real bad experiences -where I am left with the feeling of "gee I should have know better" Maybe I have just been lucky(or paranoid) Any one care to elaborate?

EJG, you already have it down pat about being observant to your surroundings....Why worry, you want to make a change in your life? just do it.....

I have never been to Colombia, but have been to several CA countries.....
