Shep -

Northeast Brazil has great Acai so eat as much as you can. Eat it like food; breakfast, lunch and a 'topper' after dinner. Acai (in Brazil-not exported) is not only delicious but it's considered by US food and Drug experts and major universities as the best fruit in the world for your health--the most antioxidants.

Ray,

I have been out of the loop for over a week. I went to Carnival in Salvador (it totally sucked ass. We could have saved ourself 300 Reals and beat our head against the wall 5000 times - it would have the same effect). We have also been in Lencois hiking in the Chapada Diamontina national park. Its been really beautiful heare.

I will pm you about the Gringotalk banners.

I have three new posts about our pre-carnival travels in Olinda.
www.sheppardsflock.blogspot.com

I will get to carnival, Lencois, and all the other weird exciting stuff when I find a few moments and a real, high speed internet connection (suprisingly hard to find).

Thanks,
Shep

Thumbs up Re: Shep's 6 Month Trip Begins!

Great to hear from you and that all is going well for you and C. Please stay safe and well. Don't beat your head against the wall. I always do that when my hammer is not handy and it hurts.

Love - Micky

How cool is that SHep..

I have heard about that couchsurfing.com site before, cool to know how it worked out for you! I have a history of having guests crash at my pads over the years, friends and many friends of friends! It think it is an amazing way to experience the culture!

Flaco,

I'm sure you did a typo but it's couchsurfing not coachsurfing. Here is the link:
