Default Re: Life in Nicaragua

From coconuts to gunplay

Now I was getting a bit bored from the humdrum of too damn many days of watching the lead float and the cork sink, and sometimes the zinc rust; National Hobbies in Nicaragua....

Not for a minute am I envious of others in their neighborhoods, because sooner or later I too will be laughing, or shaking in my boots hiding behind something while the lead is flying instead of floating.

First thing yesterday morning, one man I knew had caused a road block in the street that leads to the hospital; had built him a stand out of a couple of cement blocks and armed with green coconuts proceeded to throw them at cars and stop all movement.

So I on the Moto with two of my children, the laptop, and a new but unsharpened machete decided to go by him, WTF I knew him and he me.

Oh the Taxi drivers told me as they were trying to turn around to avoid him, don't go up there Mr. John, El es Loco...

I think unless out of their minds with a drug of some nature, some people like to PLAY crazy....

I rode right up to him and asked, Hey friend, you going to let me pass, or do we have to fight?

I got waved on by....

So my day passed eventlessly till it was time to strech out read a bit and nod off.

My daughter comes in my room and says "Daddy, they are fighting over at Cefy's house my neighbor, can't you hear it?"

Well there is all the time something happening over there with drug trafficers, whores, drunks and other rif raff in and out of there and as long as they don't bring the crap in my yard and gunfire comes in our direction I could give a ****.

They are a really bad lot over there sence they run the Gringo Mr. Steve from his own home.

So last night over three cigarettes Jowanka (she is about 18 now) beats the **** out of Cefy, (50 something) and run her to a neighbors home.

The youth took a machete and tried to break in the house where the women of the joint were holed up and couldnt do it.

Beating and a fremming on everything with the machete, and screaming crazyness.

The juez of the barrio was there in the street with myself and others under the street light discussing the situation and all of a sudden she had found what was in all probability an illegal shotgun Cefy had stashed and fired off a round....

Everyone scattered with this, I got my children in the house, put out all the lights and prepaired just in case there was a crazy assult on my home...

When the police got there they went in well armed, she fired off another round and the police gave her two warning shots, she then held the shotgun above her head like in the movies, was commanded to drop the gun but the Juez grabbed it from her and one of the officers tried to get her down off the upstairs railing and she jumped like spiderman and landed on her feet, bruised up yet captured on the ground by back ups...

Cefy snuck back in the yard when the police came, told them she had been useing drugs with a boyfriend from Sandybay, the coke capitol of Nicaragua, and to put her in jail....

But none of my wildest sweet dreams came true, these are the same two that falsely accused me of rapeing the youth as a minor of 13 years at gunpoint that I have posted the story on here...

In the name of all that is holy, I truly wish they would just kill each other and done, the community, the country, the World, and Mr. Steve will not greve for them....

Well she passed a week in the crowbar hotel and got out with the help of Mr. Steve who has been a father to her from when she was three years old.

Ahhh, the TRUTH is now coming out of her in her defense to the courts, all about the aunt who raised her abusing her as a minor, forceing her to lie, cheat, steal, and even sell her body for money.

and the novela goes on...
