How did you hear about GRINGOTALK?

I believe there is a lot of good information being shared on this site and I do appreciate it, I also wonder how were some of you introduced to GRINGOTALK? So for anyone who wants to share that info, how did you come to be on GRINGOTALK?

As for me, I was advised by someone I use to work with that this site would give me a lot of good Information I would need. I heard he went to Colombia last year, I e-mailed him and asked how was the trip?, later we met at a Starbucks and he told me about Latin-wife.com. He also showed me pictures from his 10 day trip on his laptop. Within the following weeks I asked a lot of questions then one day I was at his place watching a football game and he got a call from a lady through his PC, they talked for a while then he introduced us, I believe he was trying arrange a meeting between me and one of her friends. It seems as if everybody wants to set me up these days. The lady seemed to be a very sweet person. I must admit I was a bit nervous behind that. Afterwards the volumn of questions I asked increased and thats when I decided where my next vacation would be. He said "maybe you should join GRINGOTALK". That friend is LibraHombre.

Well for myself, I found GRINGOTALK by luck while searching on the net (google) HOW TO MEET COLOMBIAN WOMEN??
I was back from my misfortune in DR and said to myself won't go back there; when I came in here my first thoughts was to see pictures of women(bio) like a classic agency and was a bit disappointed at first hand but said to myself give it a try...Since then I'm here and try to share, learn and improve my knowledge on a country who really intrigue and passionate me after my own ...COLOMBIAAAAAAAAAA!!!

We appreciate it and if I recall there is another thread about this in the archives but feel free here. We are always curious how Newbies find there way here on GT.

Ray, this was covered in another thread but I can't find it. We were trying to get new members and wanted to know where current Members found out about GT.

My good friend, who used to post as Dr Detroit, found this site and turned me onto it back in April 2000.

It sure has changed since then...

After my first trip to Colombia (Cartagena), I was searching for more information on Colombia and its women and its culture. I guess my Google search led me here. If it wasn't for this web site, I'd probably have never known as much about agencies, probably would not have visited one, and likely would have never met my wife.
