As a Matter of Fact...

I do have a suggestion for the forum! How about an area devoted to photography? Being an amateur photographer myself I'd like to post an occasional photo or two of my wanderings and I'd enjoy seeing other people's work. Take for example my friend Zuan who lives in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Now this guy has some incredible talent as a photographer. If you don't believe me take a look at this amazing shot: (Ray, I bet this makes you want to make a return trip to B/Manga! )

BTW, I want to say a humble thank you for the Tiffany Award presented to me. I really feel unworthy of such a nice little award like that especially as I haven't had much time to do any serious posting lately mainly because I don't have internet at home. Being the tacaño gringo that I am, I just couldn't see coughing up all the dough necessary for getting plugged into the net when it's available a few short blocks away for free on the wireless. I wish they would have boosted their signal a little more so I could have received it at my home or a neighbor was broadcasting a signal but no such luck this time around. Rest assured though, my thoughts are with you all and I still intend on completing those not yet finished trip reports and a few unannounced adventures I have taken in the recent past.

I can't take credit for those photos on the links posted above. They belong to a guy named Zuan who lives in Bucaramanga.

I met another photographer today who lives in Sisters, Oregon and he too is very talented. He also has an interest in Latinas and has been to Mexico in the Yucatan area. Check out his Mexico images on the following link:

He also seems to be a writer and has published some work. I invited him to the forum so hopefully he'll show up one day.

BTW, any word on getting a special section on the forum devoted to photography? Not that we have to copy any other forum but maybe something like what www.planet-love.com has done with offering a photo section on their site. Once you log in at that site you have the option of viewing a different photo on each page you click on. Ray, RustyMon, Tonk, LostAgain give it a peek and see what you think. Maybe you can come up with a better mousetrap.
