Exclamation Multiple Registrations

Guys,

There is an issue going on right now that needs to be addressed. Each user of the forum is allowed ONE user name. There is a regular member who is attempting to register multiple user names. I keep declining them. I hope that this member reads this post and takes it seriously.

Everything that anyone does on here is logged complete with IP information. When someone registers, I check the IP extensively and cross reference to current users. We are able to see anything and everything that is done and it is all logged.

Our terms of service clearly state that one user name per user is the rule. This is NOT open for debate or negotiation.

From here on out, if the person trying to register multiple user names continues, your active user name WILL BE banned for a period of not less than 30 days. If the activity continues after that ban, this will result in a permanent ban from the site, and your IP will be banned from viewing the board.

This has always been the rule, but now it is being enforced. From here on out, there will be no more warnings in regards to this type of behavior.

Thanks for understanding!

On a separate note, thank you for the recent donations to the board from everyone who has donated. We do appreciate it! You guys have no idea how time consuming the board can be and the money involved in software upgrades that are a necessity. These upgrades are mostly security patches that protect the board from hackers that would love to trash a forum just for kicks. The upgrades are a pain at times and involve costs that are a necessary evil.

None of you really know what we do behind the scenes. The forum is ALOT of work at times and keeps us busy on a daily basis dealing with MANY issues server and software related. It is not an easy task to take on.

Keep up the great posts and thank you to all who make GT what it is!
