I want to thank Tim McCord, who has given me the opportunity to purchase The Two Gringos Guide™ and GRINGOTALK™. We should not forget Tim started this site, this famous book and this great discussion board and changed lives. Tim has saved many a Gringos from being ripped off by middlemen and unreputable agencies.

GRINGOTALK™ will be changing over to the newest version of ubbclassic and a review trip to Colombia for updates to the book. I am open for any suggestions or improvements you may have.

My goal is to make this bulletin board the best on the internet and The Two Gringos Guide™, the best book you can buy on Colombian women and the agency process.

That is great Ray! Hey if you need a married guy to help you with some agency visits, just hollar. Maybe I can justify it with my wife....or maybe not! Keep up the good work Tim started.

Cool

Wow! what a surprise. Congrats. Ray. I'm sure we're in for some great changes in the near future. Gotta go for now ... leaving for Cali tomorrow a.m., then on to a small town near Tulua for the holidays with my wife's family.

Good luck.

Good luck Ray, hope you can pump the Board up to even near its former glory. Why not send a form email to non posting members asking for their input and even putting simple instructions on how to log in, post, and check the archives. I think Tim did it somehow, but put it on a 2nd grade level so everyone can do it easily. Newbies also need this info. I don't remember being told anything when I joined. Come up with some cover letter to those who join or buy the book about the importance of actively sharing info on the Board, that this is what makes the whole thing work. I'd even help you draft one.

Also consider sending an email to former regular posters who have dropped by the wayside for whatever reason and ask if they'd be willing to again post their input. Some of these have brought their woman up here never to be heard from again for various reasons. I'd like to hear more from the members who have taken this process from their initial trip thru marriage.

My two cents...

I appreciate the support and yes, I will contact all old members to post again. When I am done adding more forums, re-doing the board, website and the book is updated, hopefully, the veterans will come back. I think we need to make things interesting again. Bring back controversial subjects, maybe post info on the underworld in Colombia. The juicy info seems to make guys want to post and get involved. I will contact every agency owner and ask if they will be more involved too. Also, I'm targeting agencies in every country south of the US. Regarding Biave, I have not heard from him in two years. If I did hear from him and he promised not to provoke people then a re-instatement would not be out of the question.

Hi Ray,

Great. This forum has been a major part of my life for several years and I appreciate all Tim has done.

My suggestion are:

#1 You print annual revisions of the book such as Fromer's and other travel books do, Chapter with generalities about the process and Colombian women will virtually the same while agency chapter will change greatly over 12 months. Include forum member reviews and imput from agency owners who want to respond to our need to be well informed and receive value for our investment.

#2 You include brief sections on other countries. Peru, Brazil and Costa Rica have been mentioned frequently in this forum. The fact remains that 10% of Colombia's population lives outside Colombia which makes Colombian woman much more anxious to leave and thus Colombia a better target for volume interest in gringos but I found my wife in Costa Rica and this will greatly expand the scope of the book.

Good luck. We all wish you well.

Jim
