Exclamation Please update your email - Thank you!

Gentlemen -

Some of you have out of date or faulty emails. And some of you have full PM boxes. What happens, is those emails bounce back to us. That said, we don't want to read your PMs or see bogus, out of date emails bouncing back to us as mailstroms. If we continue to see this happen, your account will be cancelled without notice.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

-Two Gringos

I have been receiving ‘Warnings’ from my Internet Service Provider (ISP) twice a week for at least three weeks. It would seem that the incoming mail volume will exceed my allotted storage space and be rejected.

Analysis of the incoming ‘stuff’ was the usual. 4 or 5 offers to sell Rolex watches, about the same number of ‘stock tips’ from private individuals I have not heard of, 2 to 3 offers to sell Viagra (the real stuff, they claim), a chance to enhance my person….er…manhood, 10 or so Phishing expeditions trying to get bank information and on and on.

Called the ISP and was told that volume appears to be double for a month. Seems the down turn in the economy has attracted more individuals into the ‘free’ internet marketing game. Our names (internet addresses) are being sold by hackers and the like to ‘new’ entrepreneurs. The ‘pros’ usually delete names after 5 or so “no replies because storage costs for addresses add up over time. The newbies have not ‘learned’ this trick yet. The number of “Get Rich Quick on the Internet” schemes has grown also.

Was told that changing my e-mail address would work for about 6 months or so and would most likely be full again. Any suggestions?

I have had the same email address for the better part of 10 years. I MAY get 2 pieces of spam a month in my inbox. The secret is an aggresive spam filter. Not the junk software that is sold in stores, and not some BS filter your ISP claims to have. If you would like more info, shoot me a PM and I will give you some info.
