First a little history. JunFan and I received our fiancee visas the same day in 2001. We got marrie dabout the same time and divorced the same time. His wife accepted a payout and returned home. My wife made my life hell with a bittle coart fight, got nothing but is still in the US.

I was in Costa Rica this week for four days visiting my family before the visa comes through. JunFan told me he'd be there to visit a girl friend and I senty him my number.

Just as my wife and I were going out the door for our fancy dinner, JunFan called. We picked his up and dined at "Le Monetaire", a Belgian/French restaurant in the hills above Escasu. A very romantic dinner and it was great meeting someone who had provided so much support during my ordeal.

This board has been the leader due to its exclusive clientel and I hope you can restore it to its former glory, Ray.

Sorry Jim, I hadn't seen this thread. I had been locked out of GringoTalk for several mos. I'm not sure what has been going on, but oh well.

We had a great time that night. Gringo Jim is the best resource for Costa Rica as he has lived there and is very familiar w/ reality on the ground there. I've been there 3 times and will probably be returning again soon. It's a great place to go hang out for a weekend.
