Default Bom Dia!

Ever since Ray posted the below thread about the açaí fruit I have kept an eye out for it. Even though he mentions it isn't imported it is available in several juice and carbonated drinks in the States. Unfortunately those I've tasted I haven't understood what all the hoopla was about until I tasted Bolthouse's Bom Dia. Man, this stuff is tasty and the major ingredient is açaí not some watered down stuff with just a little of the fruit inside. It is a little on the pricey side but Costco sells it at a reasonable price. So, if you're like me and like those exotic fruits (and women) try a little taste of Brasil.

Açaí is tasty but its also loaded with carbs, I guess one won't hurt.

Poke fun if you like gentlemen but there have been many recent studies showing how beneficial açaí berries are. Here are just a few doing a Google search.

Geez Tinto your no fun no more!

After eating chicharones, chunchilla y Morcilla Rellena (blood sausage), I don't think a little açaí berries with nuts or corn would kill me!!!!!!!

They benefits sound awesome, I wonder if I can find them in medellin, so far no COSTCOs here, and small portions of everything in the super marcados. Alot of stuff is cheaper in the states.

I haven't had a chance to eat some acai berries. However I just walked downtown (Los Angeles) and bought some Hawthorn Berry capsules. Also, three pair of socks for $2.50.

I wasn't poking fun, I can get açaí from "Juice it up" but they don't give you nearly as much as in the photo, I looked at the chart and it really is loaded with carbs. I don't know if it is because something is added to it our not. It has been described as being very healthy, great taste too.
