Not with its lack of infrustructure the way it is. Sure the oil, mining, ship building and agriculture production as great potential but look deeper. Wheres the railroad, the skilled workers, their education system is terrible.

Bureaucracy, corruption, cartorios its integrated with the society. The jeitinho is cultural.

Brasils Banks, its staff are unprepared for a global market and make huge mistakes with the simplest transactions. Discrimination issues and so on.

Brazilian Banks Abroad

The Banks are part of the problem, for example they charge the worlds highest interest rates knowing full well that people will default and file to re negotiate for lower rates.

Later on I will post a lot of information on investing (investor visas) in Brasil, its banks, Doing business and Opening a business in Brasil.

From what I understand for now Im a rookie and until I get 10 posts the links and attachments will not work.

Default Banks in Brasil

Banks are part of the problem:

People including gringos suddenly have loans (leins) that they never signed for issued under their names (ID). How does this happen without bank involvement.

Why can it take years to settle or clean up these frauds.

Hi Miguel,

I understand your pain but one must realize to achieve and maximize full investment potential, it is important to have a good team to help navigate the way. It is a different investing here than all other markets in the world for sure. But very rewarding when done correctly.

Your story is familiar though very avoidable.

I have helped many gringos obtain their brasil investment in a safe and effective manor.

send me a message if you would like to discuss more.

safe travels,
mark
