The flight left Orlando at 9PM Thursday
night and flew direct to Sao Paulo. 8 1/2 hours guys and felt longer.
From Sao Paulo it was north to Recife and this was another 4 hours. We
landed in Recife at about 1pm Friday. Taxied to the Recife Monte hotel
in Boa Viagem. The hotel was not great but it was a/c and it's hot in
Recife. I would say hotter than Cali. I have only been to Bogota and
Cali and Jamaica so this is what I am comparing the woman too. BTW a
brief on me and Bryan. I am 34, blonde hair, green eyes, clean cut and
clean shaven. I am a private real eastate owner and am in good shape
and have no problems attracting woman. My friend Bryan is 39, self
employed-life insurance and he is a body builder. We are both born and
raised in Florida. We neither have been married and no kids and we
dispise american woman. I could detail everything but that would take
forever and a day so I will try to cut to the chase and be as direct as
I can be in comparing the woman I experienced in Recife and Rio to
Colombia. Recife has about 3 million people and we were in a wealthy,
touristy part of town called Boa Viagem. We were 1 blk from the beach.
We stayed in Recife about 2 weeks then on down to Rio for a week. I
want back up to Recife solo while Bryan flew back home. (He had plans to
go to Amsterdam in Europe). Our first few days were rough as there are
no agencies in Recife. We went to the mall, the beach, etc,, We did
see a good amount of attractive Brazilianas. As you know the language
is portuguese and I was told there were many words in spanish that were
the same. Wrong. Portugese is very different than spanish. As a
general opinion the woman were fairly nice and down-to-earth. The
northeast part of Brazil is considered the poorest in the country so the
woman there were modest. It is like Colombia where you see street
people everywhere and every guy on the street will try to sell you
everything except his kids. I hardly saw any americans in my 3 weeks in
Recife. One time I saw a few ladder-day saints Brigham Young guys
walkin' around on a missin from utah. I think english is more spoken in
Colombia. Most of the taxis I took in Brazil didn't know one word of
english. It was a real pain in the ass. I speak a little portugese but
damn. The Boa Viagem area is full of hookers. Almost every where I
went in this area every hooker near me was givin' me the "lets go back
to your room" look. It became irritating. I did meet a few local guys
and this helped us meet the local people outside of Boa Viagem. I will
say some of these hookers looked nice and I think alot of these young
girls are probably good woman it's just there so poor and no jobs that
they have to eat. I did hit a few gentlemens clubs and was impressed.
However alot of these woman were only looking for a dinero man. It got
better in the second week. We started meeting more woman and it was
getting better. The beach was a real plus too and the water was nice
and clear like Key West. There was a cool reaf than ran down the beach
a long way. Some guys recommended Sao Paulo and I am glad I didn't
listen because I heard alot of negetive stuff about SP. Well 2 weeks
went by and so we decided it was time for Rio De Janiero. The flight
was about 4 hours south. SP is a huge metropolis. I heard maybe 12
million people there. I did meet alot of people who were from SP and
they told me "Don't look for a wife in SP". We got to Rio late about
9pm. Booked a nice room at the Marina Palace Hotel on Leblon beach and
hit the sack. The next few days were rough as we got into Rio on a
Monday and the beaches (Lablon and Ipanema) were dead till Friday. We
really didn't see many attractive woman at all our first week. However
keep in mind this is a tourist area and we did see alot of european
people. Mostly couples though. The hotel guys were telling us that the
weekends are real hot so get ready. For your info we paid about $35US
for the rooms in Recife and about $90US per night in Rio and these were
both 5 stars. But by USA standards is would be 4-star. I will say Rio
is expensive and me and Bryan got the vibe around the hotel and the
immediate area that it was like screw the tourist. It seemed like
everyone wanted a piece of us. Wasn't nothin free. Even little stuff.
We were treated ok but I have been treated better in Colombia. Rio was
not looking to good so far. The weekend was here and it did look nice
from out hotel room. There were alot of attractive woman on the beach
and I will say Brazilian woman do have maybe the best butts I have seen
and thats a strong statement coming from me as I love a big sexy, round
booty on a woman. However Colombia is very close second on this
subject. There were hookers EVERYWHERE in Cobocobana area. We did hit
a few gentlemens clubs and were very inpressed but no wife material
there at all. We did meet two woman that looked like maybe good
targets for a relationship but nope,,,,I will say Lablon beach area is
wealthy and alot of these woman are like american woman-high maintenance
w/an attitude. We heard of other beaches south of Rio to go to find
nice local woman. A place called Peppe Beach but we never gotta chance
to go as it is maybe 45 minutes south of Rio. I think the ratio is
about even as I did see alot of guys on the beach playing volleyball and
they were in pretty good shape. I think the ratio in Colombia is much
better-more woman. I will say I did meet alot of europeans in Rio and
Brazil and I heard that alot of these guys fly to brazil just to have a
lot of sex. I will say some of these european guys were arrogant.
They kinda walked around like they were real special or somethin'. The
local brazilian guys never gave us much trouble but I am sure they knew
why we were there. We did get alot of stares by them though. We did not
find any agencies in Brazil. I am talking about american-type agencies.
We got a feeling that these woman were in no rush to leave Brazil.
Bryan made a comment one day that "we could have just seen all this at
south beach-Miami. We did go see the christ statue and it is very cool.
It's huge! U have to see this if you go to Rio.
