Even though the trip to Brazil was not what I expected I am glad I
chose the northeast of Brazil and specifically Recife to look for a
future serious- woman- in- my- life. I did my research and found that
this part of the country does offer the best wife material for an
american in my opinion. It is very poor though but the woman are
modest, down-to-earth, low maintenace and quite cute. I was told by some people that the
extreme south of Brazil is a good hunting ground. Well.......I hear it
is good there too but not as good as Recife. This is first hand
told to me by the Jap/Brazilian guy who befriended me in Recife. He is
from the south of Brazil and he says yes
it's a good place comparing it to Rio or Sao Paulo but he says for
volume and modesty and the mulato look Recife is the place for the wife
hunt in all of Brazil. Newton(my Jap/Brazil friend in Recife) also
tells me the woman way down there in the south of Brazil are very
white-european looking and he said they looked american. This guy
Newton is about 29 yrs. old and spent most of his life in a city a few
hours south of SP. I have no reason to think he would bull**** me about
this. He is a very sincere guy. Me and Bryan did meet many tourist
from Sao Paulo in Recife as this is considered a vacation place for
Brazilians in the south of Brazil. These SP people looked very whitish
or pale and they had a big-city attitude. I asked some of the older men
thru an interpreter we had to be completely honest and tell me how the
Recife woman compare to SP or the extreme south of Brazil. This was
asked of course while their wives were away in the restroom. These men
told me the "most beautiful woman in all of Brazil with the right
attitude was in the NE of Brazil-specifically the Recife area." These
very experienced men also told me SP is the "last place in Brazil to
look for a wife." Four older men told me this (they were maybe
65-75yrs. old. But do keep in mind this ONLY THEIR OPINION. I saw a
magazine in Recife that showed the woman in south Brazil in bathing
suits and to be frank with you they looked very thin, very tall, very
white- kinda like a london or Paris model. Some looked even anorexic.
Now if this is your type of woman then go for it. This actually may be
the end. Any questions--just ask. I hope this helped some guys on the
list.

1. If you were really serious about finding a wife, you sure did it the wrong way, no homework, and hoping you being a successful American would get Brazilian woman running after you in the 100s. Learn humility, understand that most people living here, visiting here a know the culture, and therefore most likely avoided you.
2. I think you probably fall into the most stereotype boxes I have ever seen skimming your 4 posts.
3. you are right about one thing, if you want a women who are not a mulata coming from a poor neighbourhood, you definitely need learn portuguese.
4. I almost felt like laughing at your posts, but I just ended up feeling a bit sad.

He needs to grow some and learn respect for women where ever they are from, and as for trying to exploite some poor women in Recife he should go to Reio and get ripped off good.
